VW Polo: Surfing in Maui
For the campaign “te cambiará la vida“ (it will change your life) of Volkswagen Spain, I have animated a one-minute, motion graphics video with a colorful Hawaiian aesthetic.
The project has been done in close collaboration with the nice folks at Cannonball Studio and combines several motion and compositing-techniques. These animated postcards represent the last video of a mixed-media campaign, that closely integrates TV-Ads, a website and web videos.

ein wirklich interessantes mashup mit google maps bietet der flash-game autor mark caswell-daniels: sein online-flugsimulator goggles flight sim nutzt das kartenmaterial der kalifornier um den nutzer in einem kleinen flugzeug diverse hauptstädte, darunter auch berlin, erkunden zu lassen.

viral marketing from 'deutschland'
so langsam checken die deutschen (in den usa) wie virales marketing funktioniert:
drei clips von vw (‘unpimp your ride, helga!’) wurden innerhalb eines monats zusammen über 3,3 millionen mal auf der video-plattform youtube.com angeschaut.
zu recht, denn die werbeclips beeindrucken durch eine semiotische portion aus mtv, streetcredibility und dr evil.
